T-Mobile UK is owned by Deutsche Telekom who operate two other 'T' sub-brands; T-Systems and T-Home. Deutsche Telekom deemed it important for each sub-brand to have its own 'T' identity so a T-Mobile UK brand realignment was called for. I was asked to help develop the Brand guidelines in partnership with Saatchi & Saatchi and Iris.

T-Mobile operates in 12 different countries and this has implications on how the T-Mobile brand is conveyed; each country has its own unique set of demographics, values and cultures. With this in mind it was important that as a creative team we were conveying the T-Mobile brand appropriately for the UK market place.
I was asked to work very closely with our 3rd party marketing colleagues at Saatchi & Saatchi and Iris; together we set about developing a new set of robust Brand guidelines. Under this remit I was naturally also responsible for aligning the website with the new brand and was on the advisory board to ensure the new brand could be used effectively through all our digital channels.
